Sojourner's Song

“I have become a pilgrim to cure myself of being an exile.” -G. K. Chesterton

Aaron Telian

I'm a clumsy Christian on a journey of discipline and discovery with Jesus. As a recovering Pharisee, I'm learning to trust God's grace over my goodness. I love the world, and I'm excited about learning what it means to be salt and light in a Post-Christian culture. This is where I write about living the sojourn.

Going To Israel

I understand this a rather abrupt announcement, but I'm afraid it can't be helped, so I might as well get on with it.

I'm going to Israel. Tuesday.

Now before you write me off as a total lunatic, let me attempt to explain. Friday, my good friend Joseph Lindvall (of Yosemite Triple Crown fame) asked me if I'd like to go to Israel with him, his brother, and his brother's wife. After thinking and praying about it, I agreed to go.

So, we're going. We'll be there for about 2-1/2 weeks of sightseeing and adventure. I intend to post plenty of pictures for your viewing pleasure and liberally chronicle the experience for your cerebral exasperation, but this will depend on the availability of writing time and internet access. (I have most of the Freestyle Piano Series drafted, so I hope to be able to continue that without interruption.)

Please be in prayer for the safety and fruitfulness of the trip, and that I would recover quickly from the head cold I am currently fighting. Thank you.

Stay God's, and keep doing the Kingdom!
