Goodbye Galilee
Yesterday Joseph and I walked around the Sea of Galilee. It's a long ways. More about that later.
We have one more week in Israel. Today (Friday) we''ll be driving South to En Gedi, Masada, and the Dead Sea. Internet access will probably be sketchy, but I'll do what I can. Shalom and God Bless.

Aaron, thanks so much for putting the blogs up. It's fun hearing another angle on what you all are doing.
Joseph told me the Galilee hike ended up being more like 40 miles than the 33 he had originally thought. He said it was the hardest hike he had ever been on--even harder than the "Yosemite Triple Crown." That's pretty scary!
Now he wants to hike from Jericho to Jerusalem (uphill all the way?). Are you guys crazy? (:>) (Through Palestinian territory?) He says that will be easier because it's not flat and all hard surfaces like your Galilee hike.
You guys are sure making me envious. I wonder if an older man could pull off such things, too.
